Ravine Views

Situated on a  long narrow lot this one story house was designed to be a good neighbor  to the historic homes of the neighborhood, while making its own statement. The design was based on a spine from the entry to the back yard that serves as a gallery.  Rooms are open to each side with views to the ravine at the rear of the property.  The clerestory windows bring daylight into the center while maintaining privacy from the neighboring homes.  The curved walls and ceilings create a counterpoint to the linear axis.
