90's Redux

A young family purchased one of our first house from the original owner and asked us for an update. The original home was designed to take advantage of views to the adjacent ravine and Lake Michigan with a curved living-dining room, which we maintained.  For the most part, the original floor plan worked well for them and the changes were mainly changing the exterior materials from siding to stone, stucco and ipe, creating an underground exercise room for yoga and to practice tennis below the garage, and updating the kitchen and primary suite.  We brought in Lenore Weiss Studios wto worked closely with the clients on the material selections, interiors and kitchen and bath design.
