Entered from a suburban cul de sac, this home backs up to a protected wooded wetland.  The main living spaces all open to take advantage of the views and access to the woods. A very open plan, the house is designed for entertaining large groups while maintaining a warm, intimate feel through the use of natural materials and defining large spaces into smaller areas by offsetting walls and furniture arrangement.  This home was featured in the Chicago Tribune Magazine.
